Well lets see, were do I start? Nikki is one of the the best instructors you could ever hope for. She is kind, skilled, and patient. I probably wasn't the most focused student in my class due to being a little nervous, but with her guidance I was able to gain the confidence i needed to succeed as a diver. I am now thirteen years old and have been diving for 3 years. Thanks to Nikki I hold a jr open water certification,soon to be Jr. advanced open water. I am now able to travel and scuba dive with my parents and have a diving related YouTube channel, "Rios dive adventure" and a Mares sponsorship. None of this would have been made possible without Nikki's help and support. She is not only a fantastic instructor that is great with kids and adults of all ages, but I can honestly say that she is one of my mentors and I am proud to call her my friend. I am now signed up for the PADI MSD program!

Chris and Nikki have been mentors of mine for several years. Every time I visit California, I will make sure that I schedule a dive with them in the park. Their commitment to both fun and excellence make for an exceptionally fun experience!!

Chris gave me the knowledge and support that I needed to improve my diving. He was assertive in teaching me how to be in charge of my own safety and that its important for me to speak up. He is really passionate about diving, and wants everyone to become amazing divers. He is great to learn from and fun to dive with. I have also dove with Nikki on a recreational dive, and she is a very enthusiastic diver and great with people. They are a great team and want the best for all divers. Their desire to better the world beneath the surface starts with ever diver they meet. I've already told my friends about them, and will continue to recommend them to anyone wanting to experience something special in diving!
I began diving when I was a teenager. I immediately fell in love with the underwater world, and couldn't wait to continue my training. I did my open water with Chris, and ended up going all the way to my professional rating of Dive Master. I trained exclusively with Chris for all my courses which included many specialties. He not only trained me to be the diver I am today, but he also taught me strong work ethic, professionalism, and gave me confidence in dealing with people. I use and apply all of these qualities today in my everyday life. I'm so happy to hear Chris and Nikki are starting their own company on Catalina. There is no one else I would refer my friends and family to. You will not only have a blast and be super safe, but you will learn to be the best with these guys. I highly recommend Catalina Scuba for whatever your diving desires might be.
